Cabelas Hometown Heros event-June 17-19

Cabela's is again saluting our Hometown Heroes and inviting you to celebrate with us! Our Hometown Heroes event and sale will occur June 16–19th, at all Alberta retail locations (Edmonton South - Windermere/Currents Drive, Edmonton North - Manning Drive, and Calgary - 64 Ave NE). All Hometown Heroes are invited. Our Heroes include all Active Duty, Reservists and Retired Military Personnel, Law Enforcement, Firefighters, and EMS personnel. Details are outlined on the flyers below. On these dates, we are proud to extend to eligible personnel our employee discount (up to 25% discount, depending on manufacturer and yes, firearms and ammunition are included).



Concurrently with Hometown Heroes, Cabela’s will also play host to the 2016 Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) - Free Our Finest events at our Edmonton and Calgary locations, June 17-19th. Law enforcement officers will be camping on ‘rooftops’ of Cabela’s for 53 hours all to raise funds for raise funds for Special Olympics Alberta. The Free Our Finest event reverses roles where the public must free officers from the ‘rooftop’. Hang out with Law Enforcement agency representatives and Special Olympic Athletes while taking in interactive displays and activities. LETR shirts and other merchandise will also be on hand for purchase with all proceeds going to Special Olympics Alberta.



We would ask that you kindly share this invitation with your members/colleagues by e-circular distribution both locally and throughout the province as well as via posting on web and social media sites, and digital and physical events boards, so our invitation may reach as many eligible personnel as possible.
